ABOUT US

    The Music Studio is owned and operated by Emily Rode who has provided in-home and in-school violin and viola lessons over the years. In order to centralize her teaching and combine the talents of other music teachers and their students she opened The Music Studio in 2007.   The studio is in a quaint barn nestled near the Yellow Creek River in Ghent, Ohio in Northwest Summit County just 1/2 mile off I-77 (see Contact Us for map.)

    We currently offer private  lessons in violin, viola, cello, piano, guitar, and voice. Along with the traditional graded course of  instrumental music and theory study, we include performance opportunities in small ensembles and string orchestras (please visit our photo gallery.)  Our goal is to provide quality music instruction and performance opportunities in a relaxed and nurturing environment.   Please call to schedule a visit.
